A group of Goadsby employees recently took part in the 24th Macmillan Dorset bike ride, to raise money for the cancer research charity.
The event took place in July, starting from Corfe Mullen, near Wimborne and was very well supported with over 700 entrants. The Goadsby team successfully completed their challenge and undertook various distances, ranging from 10 miles up to 60 miles.
Mark Nurse from Goadsby said, “We were pleased to have had the opportunity to support the Macmillan cancer research charity. Unfortunately cancer affects so many people and is a devastating illness. We all agreed that this would be a worthwhile charity to support. The weather on the day was very pleasant and some of my colleagues are keen to take part in further long distance bike rides now that they have got the bug!”.
