The Property Management Consultancy (PMC) team at Avison Young has welcomed well known industry figure, Nigel Foster to the Midlands team.
Nigel, who joins Avison Young as a Director, has three decades of experience in the Midlands market, having previously worked at LSH, CBRE and Hortons’ Estate.
Nigel will deliver property management services to a number of Avison Young’s larger instructions in Birmingham city centre, including the Brindleyplace estate. He will also spearhead provision of a new consultancy service.
Nigel said: “Avison Young is involved in some of the largest, most high-profile developments in the region and the opportunity to work on instructions with the calibre of Brindleyplace was very appealing. I’m looking forward to the opportunity to bring my knowledge and expertise to the business and extend the service line by providing consultancy to clients.”
Avison Young’s PMC team is appointed to developments across Birmingham including the fully managed Brindleyplace estate, New Garden Square, Paradise and Axis Square.
Guy Thompson, Avison Young, said: “This is an exciting time for our team as we continue to pick up new appointments for developments at all stages of delivery. By becoming involved at the earliest opportunity, we are able to maximise the potential offered by our other business units, providing other services, such as planning and building consultancy advice.
“We are fortunate to have someone with Nigel’s skills and experience join us at a crucial time for the PMC business as we continue along our growth trajectory. Our underlying priority is to add value across all aspects of our service lines and employing people of Nigel’s calibre ensures that we’re moving towards this goal.”
Avison Young’s PMC team provides a wide range of property management services including rent collection, service charge allocation and budgeting, occupier communications and regular inspections.
The team also provides an array of additional services such as facilities management, destination marketing, service charge consultancy and accountancy services to developers, occupiers and investors across the UK from its London and regional offices.
