Workman, the UK’s largest independent commercial property management and building consultancy firm, has been appointed as property manager on two prominent office buildings in Scotland: Greenside, Blenheim Place, Edinburgh and the other being retained after the sale of Sonas House, Titanium Business Park, Renfrew.
Workman has been appointed across the 36,000 sq ft high specification office Greenside, the building formerly the HQ for Scottish Equitable and latterly the Offices for The Bank of New York Mellon in the capital, has been fully refurbished by the Chris Stewart Group has received comprehensive redevelopment to offer modern interior and cutting edge services including entry & access control, provisions for future electric car facilities, and Openreach fibre connectivity, all within the façade of a 30 year old building. Located just a few moments from the heart of Edinburgh’s Old Town, Greenside has welcomed new tenants such as financial advisors Nucleus, AI transport engineers FiveAI, and onshore wind generator company Ventient Energy, and was acquired by German investment company KanAm Grund in July 2018.
In addition, Workman has also been retained as property managers at Sonas House, located at Titanium Business Park, Renfrew, close to Braehead Shopping Centre. The 53,000 sq ft office, recently acquired by Vestra Enterprises Limited, a newly formed Glasgow based real estate company, boasts tenants Lenovo, the Chinese multinational technology company, and HR and payroll solutions providers SD Worx.
The two appointments complement Workman’s existing property management remit across several multi-let offices, which include: iconic office and development park, Skypark; Atrium Court in Waterloo Street, and 90 St Vincent Street in Glasgow. In Edinburgh, Workman’s portfolio includes The Stamp Office in Waterloo Place; The CBRE Global Investors’ prestigious office asset at 7 Castle Street; and the Blackrock owned asset at 101 George Street.
