Salmon Harvester Opportunity Fund (SHOF) has secured two deals totaling 47,400 sq ft at its Marus Bridge Retail Park in Wigan.
SHOF has agreed a new letting to Iceland Foods, trading as Food Warehouse, on a 10,400 sq ft store. The occupier has signed a 10-year lease at a rent of £16 per sq ft.
B&M Stores, an existing retailer on the park, has signed a 10-year lease extension on a 37,000 sq ft store at a revised rent of £13.50 per sq ft.
Marus Bridge is an open A1 retail park on the south western edge of Wigan town centre and is located adjacent to a Sainsbury’s supermarket.
Matthew Meaden, Fund Manager at SHOF said: “The decision by Iceland to take a new store and B&M’s lease extension are both a fantastic endorsement the retail park.”
Salmon Harvester Opportunity Fund was represented in this transaction by Edgerley Simpson Howe, Mason Owen advised Iceland and BPC advised B&M.
