Viridis Real Estate Services Limited (“Viridis”) has announced the pre-let of the entire 83,000 square feet of office space at The Ray Farringdon to LinkedIn Technology UK Limited (“LinkedIn”).
The Ray has been developed by Viridis on behalf of its client investors to create a new landmark building in the heart of Farringdon.
Envisioned by architect AHMM, the mixed-use development provides exceptional office space split over seven levels, each with its own external terrace; floor plates range from 16,000 square feet on the lower office levels to 9,000 square on the highest typical floor.
An extensive communal roof terrace tops the building, with unrestricted panoramic views across London. The building also features 12,000 square feet of retail space and 6,000 square feet for affordable workspace. The development offers best-in-class secure cycle storage and end-of-trip facilities and has attained the rating of BREEAM “Outstanding”.
Benefitting from a prominent position on Farringdon Road, The Ray is just a 500 metre stroll to Farringdon Station for access to the underground, Thameslink, National Rail and the new Elizabeth Line. The local Farringdon-Clerkenwell neighbourhood is home to a vibrant mix of restaurants, eateries, pubs, parks and shops.
The Ray is the third central London office development by Viridis in the last seven years and follows the successful completion and letting of 67 Lombard Street and 28 Chancery Lane.
Cushman & Wakefield and Knight Frank represented Viridis, Colliers acted on behalf of LinkedIn. The terms of the deal are confidential.
