Duff & Phelps, the global advisor that protects, restores and maximises value for clients, today announced that Paul Greenhalgh has joined the firm as a managing director in its Real Estate Advisory Group.
Based in Manchester, Greenhalgh will focus on real estate consulting for corporate clients, pension funds, private equity firms, hedge funds, banks and investment trusts.
Greenhalgh specialises in providing valuation advice to the main high street banks and building societies under a variety of scenarios, including distressed situations, asset management and secured lending. He has deep experience as an LPA receiver for a number of high street and challenger banks, peer-to-peer lenders and high net worth individuals.
Paul Clark, Managing Director, Duff & Phelps, stated: “I am delighted to welcome Paul to the team. His experience and detailed knowledge of the property sector both nationally, and specifically in Manchester and the North West, will be a significant asset to Duff & Phelps and our clients. Paul is the first of many additions to our Real Estate Advisory Group, continuing the momentum of our growing practice.
Greenhalgh joined Duff & Phelps from Eddisons, a leading UK-based firm of chartered surveyors, where he was a director in the valuations team. During his time at Eddisons, Greenhalgh spent time on secondment with the Royal Bank of Scotland and Lloyds Banking Group, where he undertook both banking and property related roles.
Greenhalgh is joined by two other former members of the Eddisons team, David Cran and Phil Kelly, both who join as directors based in the Manchester office of Duff & Phelps. These additions further strengthen Duff & Phelps’ Real Estate Advisory Group, in addition to the recent appointment of John Slade as Non-Executive Chairman in London.
“I am absolutely thrilled to join the fast growing, dynamic and entrepreneurial team at Duff & Phelps. I have known the firm and its people for a number of years and have seen how the business has grown and developed over that time,” stated Paul Greenhalgh, Managing Director, Duff & Phelps.
