Carter Jonas, the national property consultancy, has agreed three new office leases totalling 16,000 sq ft at Seven Dials, Bath on behalf of the Bath and North East Somerset Council.
Seven Dials comprises three modern and open plan office suites, each with self-contained ground floor access. Funko Animation Studios, an award-winning US animation company has taken 9,006 sq ft of space as well as two retail units on the ground floor. The company recently bought locally based Evil Corp, which was already located in Bath. This move to Seven Dials has enabled it to expand into a more prestigious office space.
The second occupier is Dialect, the British-American digital content marketing company with creative agencies in London, San Francisco and previously Bristol, which has taken 3,137 sq ft of office space. Finally, a professional services business has taken a suite totalling 1,435 sq ft.
Tom Parker, Associate, Carter Jonas said: “We are seeing an increasing interest in Bath office space from tech and media companies. It is also starting to become a destination for a great deal of US company investment. These latest lettings demonstrate this trend and the appeal that the city has to this type of occupier.”
Seven Dials is situated within Bath’s central conservation area at the junction of Kingsmead Square, Upper Borough Wall and Westgate Street. It is located close to the main shopping area and Bath Spa Railway Station is within a short walk with direct train services to London and the wider South West.
