Cow Hotels Ltd will host their inaugural golf day in the beautiful setting of Kedleston Park Golf Club in Derbyshire supporting the SportsTraider charity on Thursday, 31st May 2018.
SportsTraider is a youth-focused charity offering youngsters the kit and support they need to discover and fulfil their sporting ambition and potential, whatever their background, ability or disability. SportsTraider have established the first chain of charity shops in the UK that specialise in sports kit and equipment. The aim is to make clothing and sport equipment affordable to all, and at the same time generate a sustainable source of funding to help disadvantaged young people participate in sport.
The day will commence with the arrival of guests at 8-8.30am for breakfast rolls and beverages to whet the appetite before taking to their allocated tee at 8.50am. A shotgun start at 9am and 18 holes of 4 ball Better ball, best 2 nett scores to count on each hole, 3/4 handicap, and a maximum 18 shots per player. Each team of 3 will be allocated either a Golf Pro or Celebrity to make their four ball.
You will be treated to on-course refreshments to keep you going throughout the morning before reconvening for a sumptuous three course lunch at award winning gastropub The Cock Inn, Mugginton at 2pm; an afternoon filled with lively entertainment will follow hosted by ex-Ram, Liverpool, Villa & Wales superstar turned media celebrity DEAN SAUNDERS and multiple European PGA Tour, Seniors tour winner, turned celebrated Course designer ‘DJ’ RUSSELL.
Following lunch there will be a presentation of spectacular prizes & a short auction. This is already proving to be a very popular event and places are severely limited.
