Fast growing communications and IT company Focus Group is centralising its regional operations and moving to Kings Hill in order to further expand its business.
The company, which employs more than 250 staff and is headquartered in Brighton, had regional offices in Sevenoaks and Maidstone but was fast running out of space.
“Our previous offices in Kent had no public transport or local amenities and we were finding it difficult to attract staff,” said director Joline Cramond. “As a company we have grown by 20% year on year with the consequent need for more staff and our new offices at Kings Hill will allow us to expand further.
“We are planning a large recruitment drive soon and are hoping that our new office will become a large sales hub as well as an engineering supplies base.
“The retail and leisure amenities at Kings Hill are also a huge attraction as is the generous parking. As it is so close to main transport links it will be so much easier for staff and clients.”
Focus Group was founded in 2003 and supplies and maintains B2B telecoms, mobile, data and IT. The company has many clients already at Kings Hill and will be in an ideal position to look after them.
“Given the increasing competition for high calibre staff these days it is important for companies to be able to offer them a good working environment and Kings Hill, with its award-winning landscaping, sports and medical facilities, schools and nursery, shops and a choice of places to eat, provides all of that,” said Caroline Binns of Kings Hill developer Liberty Property Trust. “And with the growing residential community at Kings Hill there is a door step pool of labour to support business growth and recruitment.
“We are delighted Focus Group is joining us and embarking on a recruitment drive.”
As well as communications businesses, Kings Hill has a varied and diverse tenant mix from many sectors including financial services, oil, food, automotive, professional services and property.
