An accountant has snapped up office space in an attractive Salisbury city centre building.
Chartered Certified Accountant, Steve Maton has taken an office suite in Close Gate House, 47 High Street in a deal brokered by property consultancy Myddelton & Major.
Quoted rent for the ground floor suite was just over £25 per square foot.
Myddelton & Major Commercial Agency Surveyor Gary Mead said: “I was pleased to help facilitate Maton Tax Accounting Ltd to secure this office suite in a quiet setting in the midst of the city centre.
“It is always heartening to lend a hand to independent Wiltshire businesses as they are very much the lifeblood of the county’s economy.”
Close Gate House is situated off the historic High Street, adjacent to the Cathedral Close and North Gate.
It is the focal point of a picturesque and quiet courtyard which includes a car park and gardens, behind 49 High Street.
The office suite was offered on a partly serviced basis with rent inclusive of heating and lighting, water and drainage, insurance and maintenance. One parking space was included.
Steve Maton said “Having dealt with Myddelton & Major Commercial on behalf of clients, I know them to be a thoroughly efficient and professional firm to deal with. Gary Mead’s help in locating and securing our own city centre premises made the whole process run smoothly and efficiently”.
