An event management company has turned the spotlight on itself by taking additional premises in Hanbury, near Droitwich.
Production Support Services has hit the expansion trail with the help of Redditch property agents John Truslove.
Headquartered on the Saxon Business Park, Stoke Prior, it has added 8,303 sq ft at Unit 3, Mere Green Business Centre, Saltway, on a three year lease.
It means the business, which provides sound, lighting, staging and audio-visual equipment hire along with event production throughout the UK and abroad, is effectively doubling in size.
It brings more jobs too – with 12 full-timers it averages around 25 staff, utilising a pool of freelancers. Now an additional six jobs will be created.
The company operates at multiple venues across the country and is official supplier to the Ricoh Arena in Coventry and Stagecraft UK at Telford International Centre.
Managing director Chris Sparkes said: “We have a vast amount of experience in-house in all areas of event production including conferences, product launches, awards evenings, exhibitions and much more.
“We believe that every event is unique and equally important however big or small. Whether you require equipment for a small board meeting, roadshows, seminars or an international conference featuring thousands of delegates we will ensure that the event is a success and within budget.
“We are extremely busy. Business is buoyant.
“We deal with high flying blue chip clients in the corporate sector – high street retail brands, banking and finance.
Launched in 2006, the firm joins Wynstay Farm Supplies at Mere Green Business Centre.
Ben Truslove, a director of John Truslove, said: “It is an excellent location with easy access to the motorway network.
“It offers a great stage on which Production Support Services can prosper.”
Mr Sparkes added: “Thanks to Ben for identifying these new premises. Good quality industrial space is hard to find. He pulled out all the stops. It allows us to expand and grow the business.”
