The Industrial & Logistics team at the Bristol office of commercial property specialist Colliers International has been strengthened by the appointment of an additional surveyor.
During 2017 the team was involved in a number of successful deals, including the disposal of the final units at speculatively-built Apollo Park in Yate, which was fully sold and let ahead of schedule; disposal of the 90,000 sq ft Drakes Hill Court building in Plymouth; disposal of the 83,000 sq ft Dezac Building in Cinderford; and acquisition of units around the South West for Screwfix to help contribute to their target of 60 new stores last year.
The team has now been bolstered by the arrival of James Short, who joins from the commercial agency department at Kavanaghs in Wiltshire, and will work alongside Tom Watkins and Harry Barlow.
Tom Watkins, Senior Surveyor, said: “It’s great to now have the assistance of James, whose arrival comes at a very busy and exciting time for the Industrial & Logistics team. We’ve experienced a lot of occupier activity in first few weeks of January, and I’m pleased that James has been able to hit the ground running.”
Tim Davies, head of the South West & Wales office of Colliers International, added: “We are delighted to welcome James who will support our industrial team to ensure that their growing client base receives the highest possible standard of service.”
