St. Modwen has agreed a further lease on one of the speculatively built industrial units at Stonebridge Business Park in Liverpool to Supply UK Hire Shops Limited, part of the Dutch group Boels Rental.
Supply UK Hire Shops, which specialises in plant hire, has taken a 10-year lease on the 10,415 sq ft Unit 9 at a rental of £6.50 per square foot.
The lease follows the sale of the 5,117 sq ft Unit 5 to Almond Catering Supplies last year.
Unit 9 is one of four units developed by St. Modwen last year in a second speculative phase at Stonebridge Business Park, which delivered a total 65,482 sq ft of industrial accommodation.
David Nuttall, Senior Development Manager at St. Modwen, said: “Supply UK are another excellent addition to Stonebridge Business Park and they will be moving to an extremely prominent unit fronting the A580, which will be seen by around 45,000 vehicles per day. We are pleased that Supply UK identified Stonebridge as the location for the next phase of their business following its acquisition by Boels N.V.”
Jonathan Lowe, National Markets Associate at GVA, said: “We are delighted with this latest letting, which demonstrates the quality of the product developed by St. Modwen. It’s prominent location, on the A580 East Lancs Road makes Stonebridge Business Park an attractive proposition for occupiers who are considering relocation or new premises.
“The rent agreed of £6.50 per sq ft shows rental growth within Liverpool and with the encouraging interest received in the remaining two units, Stonebridge Business Park is really taking shape.”
The remaining two high quality units available at Stonebridge Business Park are Unit 11 at 17,498 sq ft and Unit 15 at 32,452 sq ft are available for let or sale.
GVA, Knight Frank and Pinsent Masons acted on behalf of St. Modwen.
