Property consultancy JLL in Southampton has boosted its team with the appointment of four new recruits.
Jonathan Manhire joins as an associate director for logistics and warehousing, working on multi-let and large-scale warehousing projects across the South Coast.
Jonathan previously worked for Flude Commercial, a regional firm of chartered surveyors based in Chichester. Prior to that, he worked for Lidl UK as an acquisitions manager.
Jonathan said: “I have many years’ experience of negotiating on behalf of private and institutional landlords in the industrial sector, and building relationships with landlords and tenants.
“I’m looking forward to working for an international consultancy and the exposure this offers to large scale schemes, as well as working closely with developers and investors from London who are looking for opportunities in the local area.”
Southampton’s industrial team, which is led by director David McGougan, works on high profile projects including: Centric 341, south central; Mountpark, Southampton; Walworth Business Park; Velocity and Glenmore Business Park, Chichester.
Simon Woodruff, who previously worked at Goadsby in Bournemouth has also joined the team as a surveyor to support the agency team across the industrial and office sector. Natalie Kyle and Nicolene Francis, complete the agency team in business administration roles.
Emma Eaglestone, lead director at JLL Southampton, said: “Jonathan and Simon are fantastic additions to the agency team. These appointments provide us with real critical mass in the local market and allow us to work more closely with our London team for the benefit of the region.
“With rents reaching peak levels in some places, we hope to see more speculative building so these appointments are a welcome boost at a time when demand for industrial space in the region is high. We are also delighted to welcome Natalie and Nicolene to our growing team.”
