Occupiers at Colmore Plaza are being encouraged to swap suits for shorts and trainers this summer with the launch of the building’s first running club.
The sessions, part of the building’s extensive range of concierge services, are currently held at 7.00am on Mondays, 5.30pm on Tuesdays and at 12.00 on Wednesdays each week. Starting at Colmore Row, routes are either five or 10 kilometres long and take in some of the most attractive parts of the city, including the canal basin.
The club is open to runners of all abilities and members receive both a Colmore Plaza branded t-shirt and are eligible to claim a 10 per cent discount at running outfitters Up & Running on Temple Street.
The running club is just one of a number of services available at Colmore Plaza, with occupiers also able to take advantage of a health spa, car valet and dry cleaning service, with additional services being added all the time, all aimed at making life easier for those working at Colmore Plaza.
Michelle Cooper, Reception Manager, Colmore Plaza, said:
“We have received a huge amount of interest and some very positive feedback from our tenants. We currently have around 20 members, ranging in experience from accomplished marathon runners to absolute beginners and now that the summer is on the way, we really hope to attract a few more.”
Rated BREEAM ‘Excellent’, Colmore Plaza is home to a number of high profile businesses, including Amey, Davis Langdon, Aedas, Orega and Williams de Broe.
