National property consultancy Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) has boosted its Nottingham team with the appointment of two new members of staff.
Surveyor Ben Silcock has joined the consultancy’s industrial agency from Hull-based PPH Commercial, while Rachel Thompson has been appointed to the property management team as a graduate surveyor after completing her Real Estate master’s degree from the University of Glasgow.
Phil Quiggin, Head of Office at LSH Nottingham, said the appointments come at a crucial time of growth for the office.
“The past 12 months have been very exciting for the Nottingham office because not only have we moved to new, larger premises, but we also committed to expanding our staff numbers,” he said.
“Investing in young talent is vital for any ambitious business, so we are very pleased to welcome Ben and Rachel to the team. The future is looking very bright for LSH Nottingham as we look to grow the consultancy and consolidate further our reputation as a foremost commercial property company in the region.”
Twenty-six-year-old Ben, who is MRICS (Member of the Royal Society of Chartered Surveyors) qualified and graduated with a BSc (Hons) degree in Estate Management from Northumbria University, will assist with the day-to-day running of industrial agency, focusing on leasehold and freehold disposal of properties LSH is marketing.
Rachel, aged 23, graduated from Newcastle University with a BA (Hons) in Town Planning and will graduate this month from Glasgow University with a distinction in her Real Estate master’s degree. At LSH, she will assist with the management of the East Midlands portfolio and general business development.
