Demand for office space is on the up in Weston, with two local companies set to move into three new office units at St. Modwen’s £400m Locking Parklands development.
Local project management firm, Quantum Surveying & Project Management Ltd, takes ownership later this month of a new 1,900 sq ft prime office unit. It will soon be joined by local furniture supplier, The Mobility Furniture Company, which has signed the lease for two office units at 1,900 sq ft and 2,200 sq ft at the business park within the Locking Parklands development.
James Holdsworth, Managing Director at the Quantum Survey & Project Management Ltd, says:
“These new offices are set in an ideal location for us to take advantage of new business opportunities. They will provide us with plenty of space to expand our operations in the future. On the back of the move we are already planning to increase our workforce by recruiting additional staff.”
James Mitton, Operations Director at The Mobility Furniture Company adds:
“Our new premises at Locking Parklands are within such easy reach of the M5 motorway and Weston-super-Mare town centre. This will put us in a prime position to deliver to our nationwide customer base.”
Ian Guy, Senior Development Manager for St. Modwen, says:
“We are pleased to see that demand for office space is growing in the local area. The ongoing development of Locking Parklands will continue to provide a choice of offices for a range of business requirements; campus offices and office headquarters to own or pre-let, or smaller offices, with floor space ranging from 1,800 sq ft – 120,000 sq ft are also available. Set within a tranquil, parkland location, within easy reach of Weston-super-Mare town centre and the M5 motorway, premises at Locking Parklands offer the perfect location for local businesses looking to expand and grow their operations from a centralised South West hub.”
