National property consultancy Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) has successfully negotiated four new property deals on Swadlincote High Street, Derbyshire.
The negotiations, resulting in two lettings and two lease renewals, were conducted on behalf of Barnes Property Investments Ltd by LSH’s Nottingham-based property management and retail agency experts.
Nick Hammond, of LSH Property Asset Management, has negotiated a 15 year restructure of an existing lease to Ladbrokes Betting and Gaming for Unit 1, 50 High Street, Swadlincote, which trades as a betting shop, and a five year lease renewal to Labyrinth Therapy Rooms, also on the High Street.
Nick Hammond said, “Uncertain economic conditions mean that this is a good time to renegotiate leases to ensure that landlords are not left with empty premises, and that both landlords and occupiers get the best possible terms.”
Meanwhile Alex Nix of LSH’s Retail Agency has let 72, High Street, Swadlincote to local accountancy firm BKPS Ltd who have opened their first branch in the town. In addition, a national charity is hoping to pen for trade at 30, High Street later this month.
