A new director has been appointed at the Birmingham office of national commercial property consultancy Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH).

Matthew Tilt has been promoted to director, two years after joining LSH’s industrial and logistics team as associate director.

Matt specialises in disposals, acquisitions, asset management and provides strategic   advice on industrial and distribution property.  He has more than 10 years’ experience in the industrial and logistics sector, acting for funds, investors, and occupiers.

Adam Ramshaw, head of Birmingham and East Midlands, said: “Matt has played a key role in the industrial and logistics team since he joined us two years ago and we are delighted to reward his consistent hard work and success with a promotion to director. The appointment is testament to his forensic attention to detail and his expertise in this specialist field.”

Earlier this year, the Birmingham industrial and logistics team celebrated reaching the milestone of one million square feet of transactions in just five months. They have now transacted over 1.7m sq ft during 2016, reflecting the strong market dynamics and Matt’s team’s ability to deliver a first class disposal and acquisition service.

Among his most recent key deals are the acquisition of a new-build 180,000 sq ft facility at Hams Hall Distribution Park for The Works, and the letting of 102,000 sq ft at Minworth to DHL. A major instruction is the marketing of vacant units, including a 126,000 sq ft building, at Fradley Park, Lichfield on behalf of Legal & General.

Matt said: “LSH has long had a reputation for its high quality work in the industrial and logistics sector and when I joined the team we were already building steadily on the number of clients and transactions.

“We are the leading industrial and logistics property advisor in the UK and Ireland, with our clients benefitting from our local insight, in-depth understanding of the markets and national support.”
