Accountancy firm UHY Hacker Young has relocated its Nottingham operation to new premises in the city centre as part of its plans for growth in the region.
The firm, which has been based in two separate offices in The Ropewalk, has moved its team under one roof at 14 Park Row.
Managing partner at UHY Hacker Young, Phil Oliver, said: “We have been looking at moving our operation in Nottingham for some time and 14 Park Row fits the bill perfectly.
“Our team has been split across two different buildings which was something we wanted to address when moving the operation to new premises within the city, bringing our office space more in line with the way we function as a business.
“By bringing our team together under one roof, we are able to better leverage our expertise and ultimately deliver an even better service to our existing clients and push the business forwards.”
Nottingham-based commercial property agency Geo Hallam acted on behalf of UHY Hacker Young.
Senior partner at Geo Hallam & Sons, Roger Davis, handled the negotiations. He said: “This building was always the preferred choice in view of the location at the junction of Park Row and Maid Marion Way making it easily accessible for staff and clients together with the timing of the refurbishments which coincided with the planned exit date from the two offices on the Ropewalk.”
Innes England acted on behalf of the landlord. Director at the firm’s Nottingham office, Chris Sinclair added: “The building has recently been refurbished and returned to a modern, open plan layout, offering UHY Hacker Young high quality, modern office accommodation in the heart of the city.”
