Leading national property consultancy, Lambert Smith Hampton, has revealed an ambitious plan for the future of its office agency team.
To adapt to an office market that is rapidly evolving, LSH is uniting the office agency team from across its London and regional offices into a ‘super-team’, undergoing an extensive recruitment program, investing heavily in data and training and overhauling its approach to the market.
Tony Fisher, national head of office agency for Lambert Smith Hampton, explains: “For LSH to deliver the best results for clients, we need to constantly challenge the status quo. Occupiers no longer come to us with a requirement for a specific location, instead, in today’s world of agile work forces, the brief is usually “where should we relocate to?”, “what should our office configuration be?” or “how do we motivate our staff with our new building?” As a result, our role has developed from that of a traditional agent into a trusted consultant.
“Alongside existing detailed regional office market data, LSH provides forensic decision-making intelligence, such as labour market and transport analysis. Once a location has been chosen, we then advise on work place design to inspire and motivate employees and maximise efficiency. Our joined-up agency approach allows occupiers to explore locations anywhere in the UK and enables us to position landlords’ buildings to maximise their attractiveness and their exposure to tenants on a national and international scale.
“This is the most exhilarating time I can remember in the office market, with technological and infrastructure advancements removing all geographical barriers and changing the way we live, work and communicate. LSH is uniquely placed to assist developers, landlords and occupiers as they take advantage of this, and I look forward to seeing our team continue to drive the industry forward.”
