Bilfinger GVA and Savills Manchester teams have been appointed by the new owners as the office lettings agents for Number 8 First Street.
PATRIZIA UK formed a joint venture with Greater Manchester Property Venture Fund to forward fund the construction of the 173,600 sq ft office building, with Ask Real Estate acting as development manager.
Number 8 First Street has been partially pre-let to Gazprom, which has taken 39,570 sq ft in the seven-storey building with an option on a further 11,590 sq ft. The remaining available office space totals 106,000 sq ft and provides large 26,000 sq ft floorplates.
The building, designed by Fletcher Priest Architects, also includes provision for up to five food and beverage units at ground level. Construction work is expected to be completed in September 2017.
Christopher Cheap, Senior Director and head of the offices team at Bilfinger GVA – Manchester, said: “We are delighted to be involved in one of the most exciting new developments in Manchester city centre. Number 8 represents a fantastic opportunity for occupiers to be part of the vibrant new neighbourhood that has been developed around First Street.
