FHP Property Consultants acting on behalf of Wheatcroft Land have completed the sale of land at Burton Road, Derby, to Aldi, who were represented by Rae and Co.
David Hargreaves of FHP who acted for Wheatcroft Land said:
“Aldi secured their planning consent last month, thus allowing the sale of the site at a price of £1.2 million.
This sale to Aldi is the first phase of a new retail scheme to be known as College Retail Park. Aldi will build their new store, car park and estate road, whilst Wheatcroft Land will build a parade of retail units totalling 17,000 sq ft. FHP will act as the letting agents.
Rents for the development will be £16.50 – £20,00 per sq ft depending on the site.”
Aldi’s construction works will commence on site in summer 2016 with completion in Spring/Summer 2017.
