Due to expansion, aviation software specialist RDC Aviation has taken a penthouse office suite at the landmark Hub building in Friar Lane, Nottingham.
Located in the heart of the city centre, The Hub has undergone total refurbishment and extension and provides two brand new floors of high quality office space with panoramic views across the city. RDC Aviation, which provides aviation software and professional services to airports and airlines, has taken a 2,045 sq ft suite.
RDC Aviation is a local business with a global reach, having clients from the UK to China, Australia and New Zealand, said Peter Hind, RDC managing director and co-founder. 60% of the company’s sales are from overseas which is driving RDC Aviation’s current growth – along with a growing requirement in the UK for its outsourcing capability.
The company has recently boosted the workforce with three new members of staff and is shortly to take on another two team members.
Peter said: “Founded in 2007, we have grown from five to 14 full time staff adding three additional resources in the last six months. The company provides online and traditional services to the aviation industry through a range of analysis and data products.
“We are delighted be moving to new offices in the Hub. Our international business has expanded significantly over the last two years and it is important to have more prestigious offices for visiting clients. Being in the centre of Nottingham, The Hub was an ideal location for us to showcase our company – and the city to potential customers.”
Robert Maxey of letting agents heb added: “While I would love to take the credit for another letting in the building, the fact is that the quality of the space pretty much sells itself.
“The refurbished Hub is now unrecognisable from the rather tired and dated facility – then known as Langford House – which used to be on offer here. The quality of the product and its central location certainly makes my job a lot easier once I’ve got people through the front door. A few suites remain from 1,000 sq ft upwards, although I don’t anticipate these remaining vacant for long.”
