Unit A Antura, Wade Road, Basingstoke has been let to MTD, a Dutch owned company specialising in the provision of temporary water infrastructures for drinking and wastewater, in indoor and outdoor events, exhibitions and industrial events throughout the world.
Following the successful provision of services to the 2012 London Olympic Games providing water and wastewater infrastructure for a total of 68 venues the firm opened an office in Andover, Hampshire which they have now outgrown and relocated to a 14,000 sq ft unit over twice the size in Basingstoke. They have acquired a sub-lease from the outgoing occupier Sto, for a period until March 2019, at a headline rental equating to £8.25 psf.
Bill Wootton General Manager UK said “We are delighted to be moving into our new premises in Basingstoke. This follows an extensive search up the M3 over the last nine months, and the short term lease agreed offers us the option of an extension or indeed expansion in three years time. The location works exceptionally well for us and the modern unit presents an ideal venue to meet clients and potential customers alike”.
Andrew Newman of Hollis Hockley acting on behalf of MTD said “We are delighted to have secured this unit for MTD which will no doubt prove to be a good home for them. The firm continues to expand and I know have ambitions to grow further within the UK market”.
