Commercial property agents DLP Surveyors & DTZ have reported new lettings of 4 further units within Block D Coed Cae Lane Industrial Estate, Pontyclun. The latest occupiers are ‘Topflite Packaging’, ‘JD Trading’ and ‘Woods Building Supplies’ who have each committed new leases.
These latest tenancies mark the end of an extraordinary year in the fortunes of the Coed Cae Lane Industrial Estate where the marketing agents have been able to agree terms on over 67,000 sq.ft., despite the economic gloom. This has included lettings earlier in the year to window specialists Glass Solutions Ltd. into a further 8,500 sq.ft., and Celtic Waste Management who took over 11,000 sq.ft.
Joint letting agent Michael Bruce commented, “Whilst the past 12 months have proved to be very challenging we are delighted to have been able to agree terms on so much accommodation on this estate. This has been helped in no small part by the pro-active approach taken by the landlords in providing swift decisions and being prepared to be flexible with regards tenants needs.”
Rob Ladd of DTZ added, “Our clients, Valad Property Group, are continuing to invest heavily in refurbishing the units on the estate which have been tailored to meet tenant’s specific needs. The amount of accommodation disposed of on the estate over the past 12 months provides testament to our client’s philosophy of working in partnership with their tenants and further enhances the reputation of the Coed Cae Lane Industrial Estate”.
Valad Property Group is an active fund and asset manager with an international network of local offices managing around €6 billion of assets. Its core business is value-adding real estate fund management and local asset management.
