Innes England has announced the promotion of six members of staff across the business following positive financial results.
The Midlands-based property consultancy, which has offices in Nottingham, Derby and Leicester, has promoted the staff across the agency, professional services, management and building surveying divisions.
Scott Osborne has been made associate at the Nottingham office and Helen Bowley and Jude Hayward have been made associates in the Derby office. Paul Watson has been made director at the Leicester office dealing with professional matters.
Mike Thorne has been promoted to director of building consultancy and Tom Burton made senior building surveyor (both based at the Nottingham office). This follows the introduction of building consultancy services less than two years ago.
Innes England has continued to defy the downturn, and has sought to grow the business during the last 12 months. In 2011, the company recruited two senior posts including high profile surveyor Peter McCrea as a director at its Derby office and Ben Taylor as head of its growing retail agency team, based in its Nottingham office. The firm is set to grow further still, and will be announcing another senior appointment to its retail team imminently.
Managing director Robert Hartley said: “The promotions and new appointments over the last financial year reflect the ongoing growth, investment and development we are making to our business.
“The last year has continued to be a struggle for the property market, and twelve months ago, we couldn’t have predicted that Derby, Leicester and Nottingham would be able to make any progress when globally we are still struggling in such a harsh economic climate.
“However, despite the industry’s ongoing struggles, we have continued to attract new clients and to grow as a business. We are able to provide a wider service offering to our customers and we have healthy financial results to demonstrate our success. We couldn’t have achieved that without the hard work and contribution of the team.”
