Commercial property specialists at NG Chartered Surveyors are set to bring the first new-build scheme in Ilkeston since before the recent recession to market.
NG has been instructed by Cold Developments to market five new starter units at Stanton Forge, which sit alongside a new facility for Advanced Roofing, which is relocating and expanding from the Manners Industrial Estate.
Stanton Forge is comprised of four 1,000 sq ft and one 1,200 sq ft units, and will be completed in early 2016.
Richard Sutton, director at NG Chartered Surveyors, said:
“The interest we’ve had already on The Forge goes to show that there is real pent up demand for high quality industrial units in the East Midlands. Cold Developments have grasped the nettle and we’re delighted to be working with them to market this new development.
“Work is underway on site now and completion is projected for early 2016 but reservations are being taken now. It’s a great opportunity for small companies to purchase a high quality unit. We’d urge any companies looking for high-spec accommodation in the Ilkeston area to get in touch with us.”
Richard Jowett of Cold Developments added:
“We’ve decided to go ahead with The Forge as we recognised the shortage of local quality-built industrial start-up units.
“Working closely with NG we’re looking to attract SMEs looking to start-up or relocate to newer, fresher alternative premises. We chose to work with NG because of their extensive knowledge and professionalism in the industrial sector.”
Stanton Forge is located within an established industrial and distribution area only 10 minutes away from J25 of the M1 Motorway.
