Acting on behalf of private investors, commercial property specialists NG Chartered Surveyors, jointly with Tim Harries & Partners, have let a 26,200 sq ft warehouse facility in Nottingham.
Fittleworth Medical, a leading home dispensing company, has taken Cinderhill Point, the former City Link distribution hub on Phoenix Business Park.
Sunny Landa, director at NG Chartered Surveyors, said:
“This has been a great deal for our client. Alongside Tim Harries & Partners, we successfully let Cinderhill Point to Fittleworth Medical within two weeks of the building coming to the market, and were delighted to achieve an improved rent of £5.25 per sq ft for our client.”
“This deal highlights, once again, the strength of demand for well-located, good quality industrial stock in the East Midlands, and we would urge any landlords with the calibre of stock as Cinderhill Point to contact us immediately.”
Tim Harries at Tim Harries and Partners, added:
“Our clients are long-term investors for whom Cinderhill Point represents an important asset within their portfolio, and following the demise of former tenant City Link, they were delighted with the result whereby the property was let quickly to a high quality tenant on enhanced lease terms.”
Cinderhill Point is strategically located on Phoenix Business Park, approximately 8 kilometres (5 miles) northwest of Nottingham city centre adjacent to the A610 dual carriageway, and approximately 1.6 kilometres (1 mile) south-east of J26 of the M1 Motorway.
The Park was developed on the site of the former Babbington Colliery and comprises a mix of offices and warehousing and industrial space, a public house and a Premier Inn Hotel.
The Park is served by a park and ride facility for the Nottingham Express Tram System, connecting Nottingham to Hucknall, enabling quick and easy access to the city centre.
