Euro Car Parts, the UK’s number one supplier of Car Parts, have taken a 10,000 sq ft high profile unit at Goold Estates’ Lakeside Business Park in Cannock on a 10 year lease with a break at the sixth year resulting in only one unit now being available.
The deal entailed the surrender and relocation of existing occupiers Newlife Foundation to a 21,690 sq ft unit in a nearby unit which they have taken on a 3 year lease.
Dominic Goold, Managing Director of Goold Estates said: “In order to secure this deal we had to move quickly as Euro Car Parts needed occupation within a month from first viewing the premises. We refurbished a unit for Newlife Foundation to move into in less than two weeks and then undertook works to ensure Euro Car Parts’ occupation within the timescales set. We now only have one unit of 7,340 sq ft which can be split to provide 3,670 sq ft within this 75,000 sq ft development. We’ve had a number of enquiries for these units and expect to let them shortly.
We have taken a hands-on approach to the tenant line up having re-let or re-geared every unit on the estate except this one remaining unit.”
Goold Estates purchased Lakeside Business Park only 12 months ago during which time they have enhanced the exteriors, including the introduction of a new CCTV system and external LED lighting as well as refurbishing a number of the units internally resulting in early lettings to Optimal Sports and Residential & Commercial Engineering Ltd.
