Final vacant office space at Carlton House in Manchester is undergoing refurbishment with completion due in February 2016.
The 3,885 sq ft (361 sq metre) suite at the five-storey Grade Two listed building at 18 Albert Square is being fitted out to category A standard with a strong emphasis on sustainability issues and is VAT exempt, thereby reducing occupation costs for any new tenant.
All existing space in the fully refurbished 21,684 sq ft (2,014 sq m) property has been occupied by tenants including State Bank of India, Nexus Solicitors and independent external façade specialist Taylor Maxwell.
The Manchester office of real estate advisors Colliers International and CBRE are acting as joint agents on Carlton House on behalf of landlord Carlton House Group Ltd.
Nicola Hurst, surveyor, national offices at Colliers International in Manchester, said: “On completion, this final phase of the comprehensive refurbishment of Carlton House will provide quality office space in a building benefiting from an eclectic mix of Venetian Gothic architecture with great views of Albert Square and we’re anticipating a great deal of interest from potential tenants.”
