The Bristol office of leading property adviser Bilfinger GVA has made five appointments across its Building, Planning, Lease Consultancy and Business Development teams. Two of the new starters are part of Bilfinger GVA’s highly sought after graduate programme.
Ed O’Grady has joined the Lease Consultancy team as Senior Surveyor, specialising in rent reviews and lease renewals across all commercial property sectors throughout the region. Ed was previously portfolio manager within the property department at Bristol City Council. He is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
John Newbold has joined Bilfinger GVA’s Building Consultancy team as a chartered building surveyor – John has not only gained a Graduate Diploma in Building Surveying, a BSc in Psychology, he is also a qualified Master Carpenter with ten years’ experience. He previously worked for Easton Bevins.
Michael Walsh and James Smith have both joined Bilfinger GVA’s award winning graduate programme. Michael is studying for a Post-Graduate Diploma in Building Surveying at UWE while working within the Building Consultancy team at Bilfinger GVA. James Smith is now part of the Planning, Development and Regeneration team having graduated from Cardiff University and is now undertaking an MSc in Urban and Regional Development.
Sarah Lawes joins in the national role of Client Development Manager, working across Bilfinger GVA’s 11 regional offices and London headquarters. She will work alongside Client Development Director Vikki Bingham, who is based in the Bristol office.
