Cooper Green Pooks of Shrewsbury, principal selling agents for Shrewsbury Business Park, report the sale of a detached part-let newly built office at Shrewsbury Business Park as part of the ongoing development of “Shropshire’s premier office location”. Known as Michael Place, Anchorage Avenue, Shrewsbury Business Park, Shrewsbury, the two storey building forms part of the development of Plot 23 on the Park by Alaska Property Group. The ground floor is occupied by Handelsbanken and the first floor will be taken by Pure Telecom, the expanding Shrewsbury-based telecommunications services provider. Totalling about 408 sq m (4,392 sq ft) with 20 parking spaces, the property was acquired on a freehold basis by Pure Telecoms associated property investment company. The price was around £750,000. In due course about 25 people will work in the building for both occupiers.
Matt Sandford, the Managing Director of Pure Telecom, said “Having been based at Shrewsbury Business Park for some years, we are delighted to move to this property which has given us extra workspace and additional car parking.” Alan Hay of Alaska Property Group said “ The development of Michael Place is especially pleasing for us as we have provided larger offices to two concerns who have “grown with the Park” reaffirming the location as one of the best in the County for office occupiers”.
