Deborah Waddell, regional director of the Confederation of British Industry (CBI), will address leading businesses from across the region next week at an autumn business briefing hosted by property consultancy JLL.
The JLL South West autumn business briefing will take place on Wednesday, November 4, and will explore the key issues facing businesses in the South West and how to stay competitive in a globalised economy.
The event starts at 12pm at the Estuary Suite in Sandy Park, Exeter, and also includes presentations from JLL on improving business performance and growth through property. There will also be an analysis of UK property trends and how they impact on business operations.
Tim Western, director at JLL in Exeter, said: “Globalisation continues apace and it’s those companies that understand the impacts and the opportunities it presents that are most likely to succeed.
“As the economy continues to strengthen, there are big shifts taking place in the property market that will affect how companies do business and where they do business from. It’s important that companies in our region understand what is coming over the horizon so they can plan and adapt their organisation accordingly.”
