Bruce Gillingham Pollard and Restaurant Property have been jointly appointed by Stanhope on the retail and restaurant leasing of Television Centre and White City Place, both located in White City, London W12.
White City Place will provide c 600,000 sq ft of office accommodation aimed at the creative industries and will be the commercial heart of White City. Together with the redevelopment of Television Centre, up to 2 million sq ft of office space and nearly 1,000 new homes will be created over the next 5 years.
Bruce Gillingham Pollard and Restaurant Property will be responsible for identifying and securing an innovative and inspirational mix of both retail and restaurant tenants to support the office accommodation.
Tracey Pollard from Bruce Gillingham Pollard says “We are delighted to be involved in these two dynamic projects. The White City opportunity area as a whole covers over 100 hectares and the area is quickly evolving. Television Centre is of course set to be a truly iconic address and it is already confirmed that Soho House will provide private club and dining facilities. For White City Place, situated just moments away, we believe a truly unique creative environment can be created.”
Additional developments include Imperial College’s White City Campus, St James’ residential development and John Lewis store opening in 2018 as part of phase 2 of Westfield London.
Tracey Pollard continued: “With Soho House at Television Centre and 3,500 office workers already in White City Place, we are expecting considerable demand and interest from operators, and we are looking forward to creating a tenant mix which exceeds expectations.“
