Acting on behalf of The Ministry of Justice, Bilfinger GVA Manchester have been instructed to sell the iconic Grade II* Listed Sessions House building in the affluent South Manchester town of Knutsford.
Built in 1818 and designed by renowned architect George Moneypenny, The Sessions House is a three-storey Georgian property of sandstone block and column construction, with original internal and external crown court features, including high decorated ceilings and wood panelled walls.
The building is prominently situated fronting Toft Road in the heart of Knutsford Town Centre and comprises 18,500 sq ft within a 0.82 acre site. In addition a car park fronts the building with space for up to 25 cars.
Bilfinger GVA, the sole agent for the building, is marketing the freehold of the Sessions House in its current original form and will be seeking interest from potential purchasers for a range of alternate uses.
