Leading property consultancy Kirkby Diamond has appointed a senior surveyor as part of its continued plans for expansion.
Nathan Andrews has joined the firm from the Milton Keynes Service Partnership and will work in the planning and development team, headed by managing partner Andrew Wright.
He has 14 years’ experience as a surveyor, attaining his MRICs status in 2008 and working for Mouchel, in the main for Central Bedfordshire Council and later Milton Keynes Council.
Andrew said Nathan’s impressive portfolio of industry experience, plus his local knowledge, will be of huge benefit to Kirkby Diamond, which is planning further growth in the Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire areas.
Welcoming Nathan to the company, Andrew Wright said: “Nathan’s experience will complement the work of the planning and development team in our Milton Keynes office, which has dealt with more than £70 million of development land sales in the last 12months.
“His appointment will provide us with much needed additional capacity in response to the continued success and growth of our strategic land team,” he said.
“His local government experience will also enable us to deliver an enhanced range of services to a growing number of local authority clients and charities, and his valuation skills will be also be a real asset to our developer clients when negotiating S106 agreements or acquiring land under option.”
