Independent property consultancy GBR Phoenix Beard has expanded its building consultancy division with the addition of Tony Turner as a director. Tony joins following over seven years leading the Interserve Consulting Project management division, prior to that he held senior project management roles for Sweett Group Plc, ATS Euromaster and the University of Wolverhampton. He has experience of managing building projects at office, industrial, residential and retail and leisure developments across the UK. Most recently he has undertaken assignments on behalf of Help for Heroes, the Ministry of Defence, local government and the healthcare sector.
Speaking about his new role, Tony said:

Tony will lead the development of the GBR Phoenix Beard project management service, nationally, for both new build and refurbishment projects. The service covers initial construction consultancy, management of design teams, detailed project planning, cost management, contractor procurement as well as regulatory compliance.
Building consultancy is one of GBR Phoenix Beard’s core service lines. Clients include Threadneedle, IM Properties and Standard Life Investments. In January 2015, GBR Phoenix Beard acquired niche asset management firm Optic, strengthening the firm’s London office and adding a Leeds office to the business. The firm has announced a number of new client wins over the last six months including panel appointments for Scarborough Group and Calthorpe Estates.
