Lang Bennetts, who’re based at Moresk in Truro, have this week moved their Falmouth operation from the Greeenbank to much larger premises at Bickland House on Bickland Water Road.
As Colin Truscott who is one of the three Partners at Lang Bennetts explains, the move will enable further growth and allow the firm to continue to provide a professional and friendly accountancy service to businesses in Falmouth.
Myself and my partners were keen to obtain the right freehold premises to secure our long term future in Falmouth. The premises are larger than we currently require but that enables us to look at letting the surplus space in the medium term.
The deal for Lang Bennetts to purchase the freehold of Bickland House was negotiated by Mike Nightingale at Miller Commercial Chartered Surveyors.
Mike says “We are delighted to conclude this sale to such an established entity as Lang Bennetts. Bickland House offers an excellent building with period features together with a more modern extension benefitting from open plan accommodation.
Of particular benefit is the car park to the side and rear which is greater than one would normally expect with an office of this size. Ten years ago Falmouth was not regarded as an established office location, however with developments including Pendennis Court and the Falmouth Business Park further along Bickland Water Road the town now has a strong emerging office district which is centered around this location. Our agency has already been involved this year with the sale of two other freehold offices in the town including Alexandra House in Killigrew Street and Unit 3 Falmouth Business Park.
