Natural Power UK (NPUK), renewable energy specialist, has announced the opening of an additional premise in London, following the company’s substantial growth in the last year.
The new office is situated in Goswell Road, London, EC1 and will provide the company with a central base to engage with its existing and potential London and South East based clients more efficiently and effectively.
Lloyd Reed, Technical Director of Natural Power UK, comments, “We are delighted to be opening a London office. Since our launch in 2007, the team has doubled and we have been extremely busy winning new contracts around the UK. Specifically, this year we’ve seen an influx in contracts being secured in London and the South East, which has led to our expansion and we felt the time was right to have a base in the City.
“The premises will enable NPUK’s team to continue the work they’ve been doing in areas such as Putney, Chiswick and Crouch End.” Reed adds, “We also wanted to be closer to our partners to ensure we are delivering the best customer service to both them and the clients that we work with.”
Natural Power UK’s exponential growth has directly correlated with the Government’s revived commitment to actively reducing CO2 emissions by 60 per cent by 2050. “Because of this, we are seeing growth in organisations becoming committed to reducing their carbon emissions”, mentions Reed. “These companies are now investing in alternative microgeneration methods and technologies, such as solar thermal and solar photovoltaics, Ground and Air Source heat pumps and rainwater harvesting to help reduce their CO2 emissions and their utility bills.
“Furthermore, the Government are due to start the renewable heat incentive (RHI) which will be open for commercial applications very shortly, whereby businesses around the UK can generate revenue to help offset the capital investment in certain approved technologies and provide an annual subsidy.”
Reed concludes, “We look forward to educating businesses further on the benefits of renewable energies and growing the organisation by adding to our extensive client base, as well as our team. I firmly believe that the new premise is a natural progression for the company and one that will help position us for our continued growth.”
