Bruton Knowles has further strengthened its Guildford office with a brace of new appointments.
The national property specialists has brought in senior surveyor Claire Jones and wayleave officer Philip Hay in response to increases in activity across the commercial and infrastructure sectors.
Team Manager Steven Drennan said: “These are key appointments for us. Claire comes to us with a wide range of skills built up from an impressive career providing property advice across the UK, and after a period of working abroad which gives an extra level of experience.”

Prior to joining Bruton Knowles Claire spent several years in South Africa working in private practice undertaking commercial property valuations for institutional, corporate and private investors throughout the country.
She also has extensive experience in the UK in landlord and tenant matters, negotiating lettings, rent reviews and lease renewals and general asset management.
Phillip Hay is a highly experienced wayleave officer and surveyor who has had a long career in the Power industry.
“Phil will be working with some of our long-standing infrastructure and utility clients in the south east, as they begin to deliver future investment programmes.”
His skills include negotiating new overhead and underground cable routes, obtaining land rights and giving compensation advice.
Steven went on: “Phillip will be working here, and with our Compensation team in Gloucester in order to respond to various client needs.”
