Tuffin Ferraby Taylor (TFT), the independent building and property consultancy, has acquired Wye Solutions, the Bristol-based firm of consulting building services (M+E) engineers.
Wye Solutions has a number of high profile clients including Siemens, Highcross Strategic Advisers and Ashdown Phillips. The firm sets itself apart from most other M+E engineers through its strong reputation and significant expertise in technical due diligence and dilapidations.
The acquisition, for an undisclosed sum, will enhance TFT’s current M+E offering. As well as supporting TFT’s market leading reputation in technical due diligence, project management, project monitoring and dilapidations, Wye will enhance TFT’s M+E design resource and add a facilities management capability.
The acquisition will also strengthen TFT’s sustainability consultancy where building services play a key role, which is becoming an increasingly valuable and important service line to clients.
The team from Wye Solutions will move to TFT’s offices in Queen Square and will continue to operate across the UK, Ireland and mainland Europe.
The acquisition of Wye Solutions is part of TFT’s continuing growth which has resulted in TFT being the highest ranking Building Surveying practice in Building Magazine’s recent Top 150 Firms listing.
