Retail property specialist GCW, which is celebrating its 25th birthday, has expanded for the second time this year with three new recruits within the shopping centre team and one new recruit within the firm’s high street agency team.
Ruth Miley joins the shopping centre team as a senior surveyor having worked in retail leasing from Savills in Dublin and in Australia, where she worked for Centro Property REIT and The GPT Group on projects such as Melbourne and Highpoint shopping centres. Ruth graduated from DIT Dublin with a degree in Property Economics and joins from Workman Property and Asset Management.
Patrick Bates, who studied at Oxford Brookes for an MSc in Real Estate, joins the high street agency team as a surveyor.
While Harry Wildsmith and Rupert Rudkin join the shopping centre team as surveyors, having studied Real Estate Management at Oxford Brookes University.
Duncan Kite, Director at GCW comments, “We are delighted to welcome these fantastic young people into the GCW family. We have over 150 high street properties on the market, are instructed on more than 35 shopping centres across the UK so we have plenty to keep them busy!
“We have a well established team of experienced property advisors, who will help guide our new recruits through the next stage of their career.”
Early this year GCW appointed Philippe Michael and Tim Ashe to join the shopping centre and out of town and roadside retail and leisure teams respectively. The firm now has 28 staff based at its 7/10 Chandos Street office.
