A major business event will focus on driving economic growth across Coventry and Warwickshire.
The Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce will be hosting its thirteenth annual conference at the Belgrade Theatre on Friday, October 17.
The event, which is sponsored by the Coventry & Warwickshire Local Enterprise Partnership along with Yorkshire Bank and Turkish Airlines, will consider the actions needed to improve economic performance across the region as well as discussing the future of local town centres.
A keynote address will be given by nationally acclaimed business expert, columnist and chief executive of leading retailer Timpson, John Timpson, who will provide an insight into his unique business philosophy ‘Upside-down management’.
Guest speakers will include Jonathan Browning, chair of the Local Enterprise Partnership and Tom Vosa chief economist at Yorkshire Bank.
Attendees will also hear from a panel of experts including Catherine Malyon of the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC), a representative from Turkish Airlines, and MP Marcus Jones, chairman of the All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for Town Centres.
Adam Dent, managing director of Coventry-based PR and media agency Advent Communications, will facilitate the event which is expected to attract around 300 businesses.
