Stoneseed, the rapidly expanding firm which combines business and IT services, says it has tripled turnover in its second year of trading and has moved to new premises to allow for further growth.
The company, which offers ‘Multisourcing’ IT services which blends business and IT services, has moved to Innovate Mews at the Innovate Business Park. Stoneseed has taken 1,168 sq ft.
MD Jamie Buttle, who heads the business with fellow directors Andrew Buxton and David Cotgreave says Stoneseed’s growth has come from a growing demand for a more pioneering approach to outsourcing.
He said: “We provide multi-sourcing IT services for the mid market, typically companies which have 250 to 2,500 users. They are companies which need to deliver their IT support and projects in a more cost effective way.
“What is driving growth is that we have a strong proposition. The IT sector has been delivering services in the same way for the last ten years. We have a different way of doing things.
Formerly with Lynx Technology which was bought out by BT, Jamie, Andrew and David set up Stoneseed in 2009. The company provides outsourced IT support and IT projects to a range of big name clients including Center Parcs, constructor Morgan Sindall, the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Chamber of Commerce and the NHS.
The team at Stoneseed originally started working from home and moved into serviced office space in 2010 because of rapid growth. The company today employs 14 and recently moved from its previous office in Sherwood Park just across the road to new premises. Over the next 12 months, Stoneseed plans to employ another ten people.
Acting on behalf of the landlord was Will Torr of heb, the Nottingham based firm of chartered surveyors. Stoneseed took the recently refurbished Office 3 Innovate Mews.
He said: “Stoneseed moved from serviced office space opposite. They are clearly a highly successful firm with plans to grow even more. Innovate Mews on Sherwood Park is ideal for companies like Stoneseed which need flexibility to grow when they need.
“Being able to move from its serviced office space opposite allowed minimal upheaval for the firm. Should Stoneseed be looking for larger space in the future, then we will be delighted to discuss their needs with them.
Stoneseed’s new office is located on the Innovate Business Park where it shares space with the Icon Serviced Office Business Centre and the landmark Holiday Inn (formerly Dakota) hotel.
