Nic Jepson, one of the region’s best known property professionals, has been appointed to the main board of the Forum for the Built Environment (fbe) as regional director for the East Midlands. The fbe is the only, across all professions, networking group for the construction, development and property industry.
Nic has over 30 years’ experience in the property industry, particularly in the residential and affordable housing sector. An experienced project manager with significant skills, experience and expertise in development, commercial business and organisational leadership, Nic’s career spans working for William Davis Ltd and Southdale Construction. He specialises in appraisal, land acquisition, and scheme facilitating, and set up his own company InLine Property Consultants in 2012.
Nic was East Midlands Regional Chairman for two years, before being offered a place on the main board, last month.
“I have been involved with fbe for some years now, and particularly enjoyed my time as Regional Chairman, where I, together with the rest of the committee launched the first ever fbe Awards, attracting entries from Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Lincolnshire, with around 150 people attending the Annual Dinner held in the City Rooms, Leicester,” commented Nic. “With responsibility for a wide geographical spread, and a broad base of highly innovative and sustainable construction projects, we are looking forward to a record breaking number of entries this year.”
Howard Gadd, fbe’s national chairman welcomed Nic to the board, saying he was pleased the region was being fronted by a well-connected professional with broad base experience and a plethora of ideas to bring a range of excellent events and networking opportunities to the region’s members and associates.
