A Midlands motor cycle business has stepped up a gear with a move to new premises.
Stealth Motorcycles has taken 1,740 sq ft Unit 2 at Howard Road in Redditch thanks to a fast response from property agents John Truslove.
Ian Parker, a John Truslove partner, said: “They contacted us on a Friday, we stepped on the accelerator, and by the following Tuesday all the leases were signed.
“This is a family firm expanding – another symptom of how people are more confident and optimistic now the recovery is here.”
As well as its mainstay MOT business, Stealth Motorcycles offer the three Ss – sales, service and spares.
“We like to think we have an excellent knowledge of the whole range of motorcycles and accessories,” said director Lee Porter.
“We’ve been in the motorcycle industry since 1997 with a focus on keen prices and customer care. We were looking for bigger premises with a new showroom and more space generally. This fitted the bill.”
Lee is a self-confessed motorcycle enthusiast. “I’ve been riding motorcycles since I was a kid, and if I’m not riding them, I’m fixing them!
“I just love the freedom and adrenalin you get with motorbikes.”
The business has moved within Redditch having previously been at North Moons Moat.
It is hoped that in the summer the premises will act as a place for bikers to meet up on Sundays ahead of mass 50-100 strong drive-offs.
Law firm Thomas Guise acted for the landlords.
