In line with the expansion and restructuring of one of Leicestershire’s fastest growing architectural design & property consultants, Scott Moore has taken over as Managing Partner of The Martin Design Partnership (TMDP), following the announcement that its founder Stewart Martin is stepping down.
As part of his new role Scott will be overseeing TMDP’s future growth plans which include a major refurbishment to the Leicestershire Head office to accommodate the forthcoming expansion of the design team.
Scott Moore, Managing Partner, TMDP said: “This is a new era for the practice and one that we are all very excited about. Over the past few years the organisation has gone from strength to strength and I am thrilled to now have the opportunity to take on the role as Managing Partner and implement the plans that will take The Martin Design Partnership into its next phase of development.
“2014 has started with an explosion of new projects in both the social housing and food manufacturing divisions of our business and although Stewart is now preparing for his retirement he will be retained as a consultant to oversee the transition and assist on some of the projects.
The multi-disciplinary Practice which has offices in Leicester and London has nearly doubled in size over the past twelve months and is set to continue this trend through to 2015. It holds an extensive portfolio of blue chip clients, spanning retail; commercial; industrial; residential and affordable housing. The Practice carries out architectural design & consultancy, project management, fire risk assessments and CDM Co-ordination and is only one of a handful of Practices within the region accredited to act as Party Wall Surveyors.
