Vail Williams LLP, leading real estate advisers, have secured a short term lease on Unit 3/1 Avenger Close, Chandlers Ford Industrial Estate, SO53 4DZ, for Geopost UK Limited. Vail Williams acted on behalf of existing lease holder Charles Pugh (Glass) Limited.
Unit 3/1 Avenger Close is a 11,036 sq ft (1,026 sq m) end of terrace industrial unit with a two storey office pod at the front of the building. Existing leaseholder Charles Pugh (Glass) Limited have a lease until September 2017, but with a break option in September 2012.
Geopost UK Limited, who already trade locally on the Chandlers Ford Industrial Estate, provide express parcel delivery and international courier services across UK and Europe. The company has taken a short term lease until September 2012 for £6.35 per sq ft. The company then hopes to relocate to a new purpose built unit in Hedge End. As part of the deal the landlord has agreed to install a second loading door in the end bay and this will be completed as soon as the necessary planning permissions and building regulations have been obtained, which is expected by 22nd November.
