A commercial property consultancy covering the south central region has been named the most active agency in Wiltshire for the second year running.
Myddelton & Major was bestowed the honour by Estates Gazette, the weekly and online ‘bible’ of the UK commercial property industry, for a raft of retail, office and industrial deals over 12 months.
The Salisbury-based team comprises chartered surveyors Philip Holford, Dean Speer, Simon Lee and Julian Pepin and administrator Jody Williams.
Dean said: “To be recognised for the second year running by Estates Gazette as the most active agent in Wiltshire, having secured the greatest number of deals completed on behalf of clients, recognises the extremely hard work that all the team put in to advising, marketing and representing landlords and sellers.”
He added: “It is the team’s dedication in driving transactions forward that has helped us become the best performing agent in the region.
“A huge amount of effort goes into each transaction, keeping it on track, dealing with problems, queries, liaising with solicitors and the parties to make sure the deal is completed and the parties get what they are seeking.”
A number of deals were on the back of a strengthening economy, with occupiers requiring more space in which to grow their companies on the back of increased orders, said Dean.
“We look forward to helping more clients in 2014 and will continue to strive to maintain our position as the trusted advisers in Wiltshire for people with commercial property needs.”
The independent firm of chartered surveyors was established in High Street, Salisbury, in 1903 and provides advice on sales, lettings and acquisitions of commercial and residential property in central southern England.
Myddelton & Major also manages a substantial portfolio of commercial property for private, corporate and institutional clients across Wilshire, Hampshire and Somerset.
In addition the company provides professional advice to landlords and tenants on rental reviews and lease renewals.
